(but there were some men)
The majority over 35, but younger people were not unrepresented (including students)
About two thirds were parents
Almost a quarter lesbian, gay or bisexual
Four out of five on the left
Three quarters non-religious
* The survey was mainly directed at respondents from the UK, but stories have been included from around the world.
The survey invited responses from people who are “gender critical”, but also got some from trans rights activists.
